On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to participate in The X Congress of the International Society for NeuroImmunoModulation (ISNIM), which this year is jointly organized with the III Congress of the Italian Society of Psycho-Neuro-Endocrine-Immunology (SIPNEI).
The Congress will take place from 26th to 28th May 2017, in Rome, Italy. A Short Course on Psychoneuroimmunomodulation will precede the Congress, on May 25th. The course is accredited for continuing medical education (CME).
Research in NeuroImmunoModulation is mainly concerned with the communication and regulatory mechanisms integrating the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems. Thus, through interdisciplinary approaches, this research aims at understanding the complex interactions linking the major control and sensory systems of the body in health and disease. A main focus of this year’s Congress will be on Translational NeuroImmunoModulation.
Two plenary lectures will open the Congress. These lectures will be followed by sessions covering defined aspects of interactions between the nervous, endocrine and immune system. Each session will start with a main lecture by colleagues from different countries, followed by oral presentations selected from the abstracts submitted. This year, as a way to promote young scientists, a whole session will be specifically devoted to presentations by young researchers. An International Scientific Committee will select these presentations and the best two will receive awards from ISNIM. Of course, time will also be devoted to poster presentations to further increase personal contacts.
Three Symposia dealing with particular aspects of neuro-endocrine-immune interactions are also integrated in the Congress.
We are confident that the program will be of great interest to all participants.
Please, find more detailed information at The X Congress of the International Society for NeuroImmunoModulation site:
Please, check this link regularly for actualized information.
As for all previous ISNIM Congresses, the Proceedings of the X ISNIM Congress will be published in the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences.
We have tried to ensure that the international congress is accessible to as many participants as possible. Please, note that a considerable discount in the registration fee is offered to regular ISNIM members (https://www.isnim.org/).
Rome is a very interesting city all the year around, but it is particularly attractive for tourists in May. If you would need assistance to find a suitable accommodation, ground services, etc., do not hesitate to contact the persons mentioned at the Congress link. They will be delighted to help you.
We look forward to meet you in Rome!
